End of Program Year Message From the President

Connecticut

July 18, 2022

It’s about feeling good about the difference you make…

As our 2021/2022 season ends, I want to take a moment to say thank you to all of you who are members, attend our events, volunteer and/or sponsor. Because of your support, we continue to be able to:

• Host compelling programs and social events
Award fifteen (15) $3,000 scholarships plus a $5,000 donation to ACE Mentor program of CT (totaling $650,000 since our founding in 2005)
• Provide a mentorship program to college age students in the region
Honor our 2021 Woman of Achievement, Rising Star, Mentor of the Year and Volunteer of the Year.

Special thanks to all the “behind the scenes” work that happens for us to be so successful…from our communications committee who keep us all informed via emails, social media blasts, etc. to our treasurer who makes sure our records are accurate and complete.

New this coming year … I am very excited to announce our sponsorship program and scholarship applications will be done on-line. Stay tuned for more information as the month progresses.

The planning efforts for the 2022-2023 year are underway and our committees are seeking volunteers. If you have an interest in joining our Communications, Awards or Scholarship committees, please reach out to Ron Paolillo at rpaolillo@draws.com.
